There's nothing you can do about those damned bugs, I've found them in boxes of pasta though never in spices. (Maybe Michigan bugs have more exotic tastes than ours). Sadly, in NY they're almost impossible to get rid of. Amir carried out a nuclear war and we finally won. Bugs aside, the chili looks great. I've never thought of putting chili on top of pasta, though it makes loads of sense, like a midwest bolognese. It happens to the best of us!
